Vinniette
A minor duchy located in Anglonia Proper, Vinniette shares a border with the holdings of New Baelon. This land is known for producing fine wines and cheeses. The duke of Vinniette rules from his castle of the same name in the center of the duchy. The production of wine is split between four of the primary counties within the duchy. Each county was led by a count or countess a member of a noble family chosen by the duke. Each family also makes it's own type of wine in constant competition with one another to be the favorite wine of Anglonia Proper.
Structure
Vinniettes true ruler is King Crevier of Rhone, however the ducal family, the Decrev family, is the ruler of the duchy. Viniette is split into four counties, each being run by a count or countess of a noble family. The rulers of the counties are chosen from four families by the current Duke or Duchess. These families include, Barthet, Deschanel, Fournier and Marchand.
Public Agenda
Vinniette is a loyal duchy under control of Rhone. Vinniettes primary goal is to gain prestige through the production of fine wines which are desired in all courts across Anglonia Proper.
History
Vinniette was previously it's own kingdom, ruled by the Laframboise family. They were disposed by the royal family of Rhone. Close cousins of the Crevier family of Rhone were placed as the new leaders of Vinniette. Thus the Duchy of Vinniette was born, ruled by the Decrev family who still rules to this day.
Agriculture & Industry
Wine and cheese are the staples of production in Vinniette. Most of Vinniette's landscape dotted with Vineyards or cattle ranches. A large amount of beef is also produced within Vinniette. A minor fishing industry exists in the south of Vinniette, which borders Anglonia Proper's southern coast but fisherman here are commonly out competed by the larger vessels from New Baelon.
Trade & Transport
Fine wines are traded across Anglonia Proper providing great wealth to the noble families of Vinniette. The duchy of Vinniete takes a share of this wealth and in turn the King of Rhone taxes this income as well.

Any currency meeting the standards of the Goldentree Banking Guild are accepted. Vinniette does not mint it's own currency however coins minted in either New Baelon or Rhone are the most common to be found.

Laws are made at the county level, generally written by the aides of the count, high born individuals on the counts or countesses court.

Any injustice is taken to the local lord. A lord who suffered injustice goes to the local count. A count who suffered injustice goes to the Duke or Duchess.
