The Order of Baelar

The Order of Baelar is a Paladin order operating throughout Anglonia, they are strongest within Anglonia Proper. Paladins and Clerics of this order worship Baelar and can often be found leading troops within wars and battles. Trying to get blessings from Baelar for the soldiers partaking and also trying to have as many of the battles casualties as possible feed Baelar's Coliseum. These Paladins and Clerics also found temples and arenas to hold combat trials in honor of Baelar.

Structure

A temple or Arena is relatively independent, sending some of its tithes to larger temples in the area, and being run by the most senior priest, cleric or Paladin.

Divine Origins

After the fall of Baelon during the Age of Strife a handful of followers of Baelar managed to escape the city. They founded the new order and over time travelled the continent to reclaim ruins from Baelon's prime.

Ethics

A follower of Baelar is to protect the weak and spill the blood of the wicked. A follower of Baelar is to fight, kill, and die with honor and dignity.
