Philagantri
A large Kingdom between the Deluga and Fillshara in Anglonia Proper. They are known for their strong horse breeds and equestrian heritage. The plains are separated into ranches each owned by a noble family. The King of Philagantri coming from the first family that settled the area and still has the larges ranch. Donkeys, Mules, riding horses, warhorses, Pegasus and even unicorns are raised in the many ranches. The majority of the farming done produces either oats or hay for the consumption of the many horses raised here. The cavalry units used by Philagantri are second to none.
Structure
The King of Philagantri is the ruler who has vassal lords that each rule over their respective ranchs and ranch hands.
Culture
Horse riding is generally learned young. Few people of Philagantri are not involved in equestrian practices of one kind or another. A common activity within ranch towns is horse racing where members from all walks of Philagantri society mount their great steeds and attempt to outrace one another on either specially set up racetracks in larger towns or across the existing dirt roads in smaller villages. Tourneys can also be seen quite often where the Philagantri Lancers joust one another and where the men at arms of Philagantri engage in martial duels.
Military
Philagantri has a focus on cavalry units. The Philagantri Cavalryman and Lancers making up the majority of the fighting forces of the Kingdom. Most ranches to have ranch hands that can be raised as men at arms if the need arises, these are most commonly used in Philagantris defense.
Agriculture & Industry
Most agricultural products produced in Philagantri can be fed to its population or the many horses they rear, oats and hay are the most common crops to be found. The breeding of horses are their most common industry. The Philagantri thoroughbred being some of the most sought after horses in all of Anglonia.
