G'Lak
A Mer city within the depths of the Great Lake. They have nuetral relations with the surface dwellers, little in the form of communication or trade takes place between the two civilizations. Black pearls are their most common trade commodity which they trade with some ship captains who are aware of their existence. Metal tools, weapons and armor is their most desired commodity, being unable to forge deep underwater. What they don't gather through trade they collect from shipwrecks that have sunken to the bottom of the Great Lake.
Demographics
The city is made up almost entirely of Mer, a handul of Triton make up the cities royal court. The city does also make use of a large Kua-toa slave population.
Government
G'Lak is led by a Monarchy made up of Tritons. They Tritons came from Agualar with weapons made of strange metals and quickly became the local rulers.
Defences
The city being underwater is a great boon to its defense. Only those that can breath and survive on the depths of the lakefloor can even attempt to attack it.
Infrastructure
The city is made primarily of coral bricks which are harvested from the shallower depths of the Lake. Bones and weaved seaweed make up most of the smaller cheaper residences within the city.
Assets
Black pearl farms are the cities main form of income.
