Obsidian Vault Prison
Obsidian Vault Prison was built by the Elite Order in 14 P.C, and is meant to imprison enemies of the state who refuse to give up valuable information. The Prison's most notable feature is the very powerful magical ability that allows it to create a permanent inescapable prison in the Plane of Dreams by using a powerful magical chamber that attunes to a potent Dreamwalker.
The prison is made up of _ main areas:
The Dream Chamber
This area is a large cavern that has a plateaued stalagmite with a chair and two magical orbs. When a being with a powerful link to the plane of Dreams, such as a Dreamwalker is unconscious and placed in the chair, the two orbs can be activated. One will keep the being in a permanent state of sleep by using a brain of a Beholder, and the other will force the being to dream of whatsoever the keepers of the prison decide.The Graveyard
The northeastern most area is referred to 'The Graveyard' due to the fact that it looks a lot like the central room is filled with coffins. These 'coffins' are meant to hold prisoners, and use magic to link them all to the same dream, which is the one created by the being in the Dream Chamber. The central room also contains the statue of a large, metal skeleton, that animates and attacks any prisoners in the event they escape. In the south of the room there are four modified scrying orbs, which are instead used to view the dreams of the prisoners. There are stairs in the top of the Graveyard that lead to a small room with a singular scrying orb, that can be used to view the dream of the being in the Dream Chamber.Purpose / Function
Salvatrice uses the prison to imprison captured rebels of the state and keep them in a permanent sleep, and then mentally torture them so they can read their minds.
Alterations
The people in charge of running the prison for the Elite Order have changed hands a lot, and alterations are frequently made to provide for the new needs and customs of the people who run it. The prison has proven to be very helpful
