Personal history
Alexander spent most of his early years behind the white walls of the Golden Palace, learning the lessons and history that have been passed down his bloodline for centuries. His father Cedric taught him what it means to be king as well as how a king is to act and rule over the people. Well-mannered from a young age, Alexander quickly began befriending the citizens of Highguard. His charm and good-nature were widely contrasted by most adolescents his age. However, on his 14th birthday, his life and the lives of Highguard would change forever. For the first time in over 5 centuries, Highguard was attacked. Queldashi assassin's invaded the palace, murdering Queen Anne and endangering both Alexander and his father's lives. Cedric quickly sneaked Alexander onto a boat and sent him off with Alexander's uncle Azabar. The merchant ship took the two royal family members across the continent to Shal. There, Alexander trained with his uncle for 5 years until his uncle passed away from illness. The young Alexander knew if he was to return to save his kingdom he would need more training and knowledge. He looked to the Shaloran Knights for wisdom. He spent another 3 years in utter seclusion with the knights until he felt that he had learned all he could. Upon his return to Highguard, he found that his father had just fallen in battle while defending the country side from Queldashi forces. Since then, Alexander has managed to ally other nations and through diplomacy, prevent further invasions from the Queldashi. But, that can only last so long.
Education
Alexander has been trained in sword fighting, dueling, mounted combat, and battle strategy. In addition he is well-versed in the history of the Iron Realms as well as 4 other languages and their scriptures.
Employment
Alexander was born a prince, but during his time in Shal, he worked as a mercenary and adventurer. Now, he serves as King and protector of Highguard and Dallenvale.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Alexander's diplomatic accomplishments are small but many. He has secured extensive trade routes from all across the realms, allied forces with mystical creatures in order to protect Dallenvale from such creatures as well as from other forces that might threaten the kingdom, and finally he has managed to align with many other kingdoms of man, including the ornory Dwarves of Moradin. Though these are not his only accomplishments, they are his most recognized ones.
Failures & Embarrassments
Alexander has only ever failed to ally one group of people, the Goliath of the Brokenmaw tribe atop the Black Iron Mountains. They would serve as crucial allies in the war against Queldash if they were to cooperate.
