Kraklish Manufacturing
The technology behind the creation of the Kraklish has been lost for ages. No one is sure how or why the technology was forgotten but there are no known sources on the subject. While there is a want to understand the technology that helped to create a Sapient race, it is also a terrifying prospect to many leading to there being a limited will to search for the process.
Utility
The Kracklish seem to have been developed to aid their creators in innovation, though those days are long gone as they have left their original home to live in the caves and halls of Prowen Province. Whatever the process was it is believed to have utilized ancient magics that resulted in the sapience as well as the ability to reproduce and self replicate that the Kracklish show.
Social Impact
The Kracklish have taken their creation, and while even they do not know the secrets behind their origins, they have made a huge impact on the world since their creation. They have become just as much a people of Vasea as any other, with their own culture and quirks. Most can't ignore their their existance.

This technology has been lost to time and ruin, gone as long if not longer than the original name of the Tinkers. No one is sure why or how this happened but there is no known information on how this was done.
Complexity
It is assumed that the process for manufacturing the Kracklish, a sapient race on their own despite their seeminly artificial nature, is incredibly complex and possibly beyond the realm of what is possible in the current age. The mechanics behind their seeimingly steam based functionality are already more complex and unknown then any steam power that is currently in use. As such the complexity of developing and manufacturing the Kracklish is astronomical.
