They have two to three fingers. The fins and body can come in many colors, shapes, and sizes.

Young

When young they have just a beak developing teeth as they get older. The fins on the back will recede as they age and develop new ones.

Ecology and Habitats

While often found in the ocean, they have been occasionally been spotted in large bodies of freshwater. Typically the brighter colorful individuals will reside in shallower waters. The deeper lurking darker ones will often have bioluminescent lighting on their bodies.   They can only live outside water for a limited time requiring to be kept damp.

Dietary Needs and Habits

While they consume a variety of sea food, they have a fondness for surface treats.
