Demon's Eye

A large orange and white nebula. Seen clearly in the winter located in the north near the Worldbreaker constellation.

Myth

It's believed the nebula is the eye of a powerful emperor that once ruled Caelus. It waged ruthless battles against its enemies eventually driven mad by bloodlust. With the emperor's death at the hands of traitors, it curses them with a malevolent gaze dooming them to a terrible fate.

Variations

Some locations have the nebula as the emperor's core. Saying the gods did fulfill their end of the bargain with Worldbreaker by allowing it to contact its creator. This variation is stems from the known thin veil between the living and dead during the fall and winter months when the eye is most visible.
