"Nothing happens within the Natural Law that the Tracker doesn't know about. Woe be to those that dare corrupt his domains, be that here on the Prime Material, or the Faewild. His Hunt will track you to the ends of the earth and beyond to see you fertilize the soil." Kamir'Shan, Ranger Captain of the Witchwood.   Garrow the God of Nature, Weather, and the Hunt is said to be the creator of the Faewild. However, this fact is disputed by several of the Archfey that reside within the Tracker's court. Stating the Garrow has only recently taken residence within their plain and shown himself to be an asset. The god himself has neither confirmed nor denied these claims and seems content to let his worships go about their devotions in whatever way they deem fit. The Elves however, believe him to be their original sire so much so that they reverie Garrow and his temples can be found in almost every Elven city in Vanigraad.   Garrow presides over the realms of the natural. Animals, plants, and other living organisms of both land and sea fall under his purview. He takes care to monitor their existence and that of their habitats with excruciating diligence. He is angered by those who act in discordance with the continued existence of any natural habitat. He is distrustful of man-made civilizations and structures. He only accepts them because the other deities of the pantheon have demanded that he do so, and even a god as powerful as Garrow can not resist the combined will of many deities! Many of his followers can be found in the upper echelons of mortal civilizations who help control expansion of settlements and cities, so as to minimize the destruction of any natural habitats.   Garrow also holds dominion over the Seas, a role which has swelled the ranks of his worshipers over time. He listens to the prayers of seafaring mortals, and if they have been respectful of nature, he often grants such protections. For this purpose alone, clerics of Garrow tend to be extremely popular on sea borne journeys, and many merchant sailing companies employ Garrow's clerics merely to assure safe and swift passage.   Garrow controls all elements of weather, and he uses them to maintain the balance within the natural universe. Garrow gives life to plants and animals by providing rains and by letting the proper amount of sunlight through the clouds. Which can occasionally bring him into small conflicts with Kirana, the Goddess of Light. But such quarrels are always small. Periodic weather borne "catastrophes" are used to cleanse various environments and ecosystems of stagnant life forms. This allows the process of rebirth and evolution to progress in a healthy fashion and at a regular pace.   Garrow has a friendly relationship with Galatea, as he is also a great lover and protector of life. Garrow, however, understands the necessity of death to the progressive development of animal and vegetable species — a belief over which he and Galatea have had innumerable heated, yet friendly debates. It is suspected the Tracker has an unspoken love for the Lady of Life, and is sometimes absent from the Faewild from time to time in order to visit with her in the High Heavens. Though this is rumor only, and heavily denied by Garrow's followers.   The wolf has long served as a symbol of Garrow's power and influence. It is said that those who walk in the company of wolves are blessed by the Tracker himself. As such, wolves are not to be hunted unless absolutely necessary, and the hunt is sanctioned through the Tracker's church. This happens only when packs of the beasts are killing mortals or their livestock.   Garrow is also known as the Lord of the Hunt. He is the patron to hunters of all types and encourage the hunting of all manner of beasts to test ones abilities as a hunter. Within reason, of course, so as not to disrupt the continuation of any one species of creature. Garrow celebrates this title during the Spring Solstice where he rides from the Evergreen court with his Archfey to hunt a mysterious pure white stag. This week long hunt is celebrated within the Prime Material plain with a festival known as the Evergreen festival. Where hunters of all walks of life and all races come together to hunt and cook countless beasts in the Tracker's honor. This gathering of hunters also serves as a place for various Ranger disciplines to come together to trade and to share information, as many of these individuals very rarely communicate with each other, or the outside world at large. Which has led to an air of mystery surrounding the profession, and the belief that Rangers are dangerous individuals.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Garrow desires nothing more than the preservation of his creations and their continuation. If he could, he would let nature reclaim the mortal-made civilizations, but he will not bring himself into contention with the others do so. At least so long as his creations are respected by those that reside alongside them.
