Kenku

Kenku are an avian race, but lack the ability to fly.  They appear as humanoid corvids, crows or ravens.  They have humanoid arms with taloned hands, but no wings.  Additionally, Kenku are not able to speak, but can instead mimic any voice or sound they have heard before, using these sound clips to communicate. It is said the Kenku are cursed by the gods for attempting to fly to the heavens, and had their flight taken from them.  Many kenku dream of once again regaining their ability to fly.
