Bhaldoral

The Great Bastion of Bhaldoral is home to all Mountain Dwarves. This is because if a dwarf leaves the city and walks on the surface, they are considered to no longer be a Mountain Dwarf. As such, any dwarf that has walked on the surface is known as a Hill Dwarf.   The Mountain Dwarves are very industrious, and have constructed ingenious steam-powered machines to power their city.  Vents have been bored out of the mountain to let steam out, so surfacers know when they're nearing the city when they see the gouts of steam pouring from the earth.
