The Luna Club
The Luna Club is one of the few sanctioned human and vampire mixed population nightclubs in the United States. Normally, there are strict penalties for owners who allow living and undead to mix. However, the owner, Emma Cole, has a special deal with the hunters, acting as an informant in exchange for her club being exempt from surprise raids. While it still isn't exactly legal for her clientele to mingle, the hunters are willing to look the other way in order to retain her cooperation.
Like most other vampire clubs, almost every drink served at the bar contains a large amount of synth-blood, the legal alternative to human or animal blood. Clubs found serving the genuine article are shut down by the government.
Since the Luna is one of the few places vampires and humans can safely mingle, it's become a popular destination for both species. In just a few years after it opened in 2001, Emma's club became one of the biggest attractions for the L.A. Nightlife, and for human 'vamp groupies'. However, the club doesn't allow one specific practice that some other blended human/vampire establishments engage in. No vampires are allowed to feed on the human guests. Operating a "host club", a place that does allow the practice, can be extremely lucrative, but is also a guarantee of being shut down by hunters, no matter what deals they've had in the past. That's one line Emma will never cross, and not only because of the danger. Her own turning was traumatic, and she won't risk it happening to anyone else she feels responsible for.
