Red Flight Commander Korrick Aimes' long-time friend and second-in-command, Alten is as cheerful and lighthearted as his comrade is serious and focused. He is popular among both knights and civilians, but because of this, there are plenty who underestimate him.
In truth, Alten did not earn his post by popularity, or by his friendship with Korrick. He is a clever tactitian and capable fighter.

Alten is a bit lanky and unkempt, especially beside Korrick. However, he is a skilled fighter, with exceptional speed and impeccable technique. Despite being younger than Korrick, Alten stands comfortably on par with him in tournaments and in their peer's respect.

Perhaps less attractive than Korrick, at least to the usual Valoran sensibilities, Alten compensates with impeccable grooming and a sparkling layer of charm.
