Naiathel

Naiathel culture is one that is unique to the Naiathel race, although other races have begun to absorb it as a result of the Naiathel Empire's rule. If you are strong enough to take what belongs to another, then you have rightly earned it. Naiathel culture calls this philosophy the "Right of Conquest", treating the concept as law, not as something that is immoral. When something is taken from you, you should not despise the one that took it from you, you should look towards yourself and the personal failings that made you susceptible. The culture acknowledges that strength comes in many forms, and doesn't necessitate physical prowess. Intelligence, tactical brilliance, and social charisma are all seen as a part of what makes someone strong, and the ability to inspire loyalty is as valued trait. Despite this, it cannot be denied that physical prowess is always important in Naiathel society, as the sweetest words mean nothing when you are skewered upon a spear.

Naiathel culture promotes honor and respect, that it is a false strength to face a problem in a subversive way. Adversaries should be aware and ready to face you, and social problems should be taken head on, no talked around and manipulated. Although the Naiathel people are quite xenophobic, their culture does not share such principles. Most Naiathel would be glad to find others adopting their cultural sense of honor, and their principle of "Right of Conquest".

The Naiathel people are primarily accustomed to aquatic dwelling, although in recent years this has been changing. The Naiathel Empire is vast, and as such their culture is now spread out across many biomes, though none of them are arid. Though the vast majority of this culture is comprised of Naiathel peoples, there are now Human and Dragonborn minority groups, with some entirely Human/Dragonborn legions within Naiathel military.
