Kane

Kane is a god of Dichotism, one of the Fallen. He embodies the domains of dominance, tyranny, and control. As with all the Fallen, he is not given the dignity of a humanoid form in artwork. Instead, he is depicted often as a snake, usually coiling around its victim to bind or constrict, or perhaps poised to strike with paralyzing venom. Kane is almost always depicted alongside Drik, the god of submission, as it is believed the two work hand-in-hand, and rely upon each other to fulfill each others potential. Kane depends on Drik's service, promising him gifts and power, manipulating him to carry out his will. Kane never delivers upon these promises, always requiring one more task, one more service, using Drik's greed to manipulate him. The lesson Dichotists would wish to instill is that Kane's strength is dependent upon Drik, and that without those who allow themselves to be controlled and manipulated, the manipulator has nothing.
