Star Plagues

This is a classification of disease that is mostly confined to within the cold swamp but are able to, though rarely, jump the bad step to infect those in the valley basin. They are called star plagues for they are most often plagues with no prior history to mankind that break out after chunks of the frozen sky falls to the Earth. So it is thought that these illnesses are preserved within the sky itself and are unleashed when the stars fall.   The more worrisome ways by which star plagues can cross over are through the breezeway, via White Women's duel canyons or through the depression at the tail end of the bad step controlled by Gaioor.
