Immortal Journals
Purpose
The immoral journals are a collection of short snippets compiled from the hearsays of the 12 immortal kings. They recollect the most stand-outing memories of their lives, the skills they displayed, the resources they had, the persons they met and the physical changes that were forced on them.
Document Structure
Clauses
For each king, the papers start with a rundown of who they were before, what they did and what they had. Then they continue into a single sentence of some notable action they took.
The author claims that these words were extracted from the immortals' own writings. For proof, he points to the tendency of his transcriptions to have holds in the accounting or skip over logical consistency. Which is chalked up to the expected loss of records for such a long time span.
Caveats
For some reason, the writer was in the habit of categorizing the aspects he deemed important in threes. According to him, each king had (arbitrarily) started their mundane existence with 3 skills, 3 possessions, 3 foundational experiences and 3 companions or enemies; all of which are recorded as punchy passages.
Publication Status
These books are supposedly hidden away by some powerful governmental entity of unspecified origin. There is no proof as to the existence of these texts. But rumors and stories outline a conspiracy - among those so inclined - to restrict knowledge of immortality exclusively for the rich and powerful.
Historical Details
Legacy
These documents attempt to journal the lives of the immortal kings of the Cloud Clans in short and to-the-point summary statements. They tell of their life paths, spanning centuries, that is littered with regular friends and foes who get but a passing mention.
