Teal Run

Teal Run is a river that originates at Boslet Lake and flows through Big Horn Cape for half of its 900-mile journey. It is a large tributary of the Shimmering Run, providing nearly 80% of the water for the Shimmering Run during the wet season, from Gonde to Napha, with Shadow Run being the other major tributary.
The river runs through a series of nearly impassable gorges, as deep as 4,900 feet, carved into the Chatsano Highlands by glaciers.
The volume of water that it supplies to the Shimmering Run as it runs throughAcrain floods the region, which is vital to Acrain's fertility and the development of its agrarian civilization.
The Teal Run washes so much silt from the Chatsano Highlands during the summer rainy season that it turns the water a dark brown or nearly black color.
