Gnome

The Gnomes were created by the god Chauntea. Chauntea wanted to create a race who shared her creativity and inspiration. The Gnomes were made to want to solve problems for the best of all involved. Since Chauntea cared little for the rules or traditions if a good solution required breaking a rule she did not care. This ideal was transferred to the gnomes.

With this nature the Gnomes created a society of laws and rules but they changed all of the time. Each town had its own structure that best suited its need. Instead of breaking the rules to do good the gnomes just changed the rules. This while confusing to outsiders has created trust between the gnomes and their allies. The Dwarves have entrusted them with international matter because they better adapt and understand the other species of the world.
