Dwarves

The Dwarves were created by the god Torm with the help of Moradin. Torm wished to create a people of the stone and mountains who followed his ideals. He enlisted the help of Moradin to achieve this goal. As with his other races Torm instilled in the dwarves a strong sense of Tradition and Structure. Moradin is cautious by nature and this was transferred to the Dwarves.

The Dwarves created a Structured society ruled by tradition. The value of a Dwarf was based on his actions and results not his intentions. They were a peaceful and Kind race willing to help those in need even outside of their community. Even with this nature they are secretive about their homes and lands. Outsiders are rarely invited in but worked with outside of their holds. They may not look to expand but fiercely defend what is theirs, the Morok Mountains.

This nature lead to a partnership with the Gnomes. The Dwarves came to trust the gnomes and created many mutually beneficial relationships. In this age the dwarves are responsible for the protection of the peoples of Mendoruhl and the gnomes the diplomacy and trade.

The dwarves of Valindir are found primarily in the Mountain nation of Mendoruhl in the northern portion of Crotura. While Mendoruhl is the home nation of most dwarves many have made lives throughout the human and halfling lands of Falnor.
