Tanglewood
Tanglewood is a type of tree native to Valheim's Lamrock Wood. It is harvested for its unique twisted wood which is great for decoration.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Tanglewood is unique in its anatomy compared to other trees. It has a winding trunk, which ascends in a spiral pattern eventually reaching the top, which is covered in interestingly colored leaves. Tanglewood's wood is not super durable compared to the normal trees that you can find in the forest but its easier to mold and carve.
Genetics and Reproduction
Tanglewood reproduces like a normal tree.
Growth Rate & Stages
Tanglewood grows to full size at about 45 years old and normally lives up to 115 years.
Ecology and Habitats
The creatures of Lamrock Wood feast on the leaves of the Tanglewood because the tree is so easy to climb. its spiral pattern allows a creature to scale it like a ladder or for smaller animals to scamper up the branches as if it was a ramp.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Tanglewood proforms photosynthesis like a normal tree.
Biological Cycle
This is where the Tanglewood gets complicated. During the spring seasons, its leaves show a pinking cherry blossom color. During the summer seasons, its leaves show a deep purple and green color. During the winter seasons, its leaves show a light blue and white color. and during the fall seasons, its leaves show an orange and red color.
Origin/Ancestry
Despite it being a type of tree, its is known that it is impossible to cross a Tanglewood with a diffrent type of tree.
Conservation Status
Tanglewood is common in Lamrock Wood so it requires no conservation.
