Flail Tail

The Flail Tail, (not to be mistaken with the Flail Snail of Chult) is a normal tiny squirrel with a vicious tail filled with spikes. Flail Tail's only use their tail in defensive situations and is normally not aggressive.

Anatomy

Flail Tail's resemble normal squirrels except for their tail, which is large, strong, and holds many large orange spikes that the Flail Tail will swing around in self-defense.

Genetics and Reproduction

A Flail tail is literally just a squirrel. It reproduces sexually like many other small mammals and will often fight over mates.

Growth Rate & Stages

Flail tails spikes start as pokey thorns in its tail and grow to full spikes as they grow older.

Ecology and Habitats

Flail Tails are native to Lamrock wood but can be domesticated and moved as long as they are supplied with the basic need that is required for them to live.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Flail Tails feed on small nuts and berries, saving some of them for the long winters ahead. They normally store their saved nuts in a hollow tree and will attack other rodents with their tail when one manages to break into their home.

Biological Cycle

Flail Tail's are tree squirrels so they do not hibernate but they still collect various nuts suspecting there will be a lack of food in the winter.
