Pikemen are tough, well armored men who carry long pikes and halberds. Diligent drill and training molds these warriors into a cohesive fighting unit which exhibits great discipline in the heat of battle. Their dense formations and standoff weapons make them ideal for countering cavalry of all forms, though they are quite vulnerable to heavily armored footmen.
