Hajmire

Located just West of the Haji Mountains this lake got it's name when it was very small and no more than a bog.  However with the appearance of a new stream running north from the Ashib Mountains this bog expanded to become a rather large lake.  When looked upon from the east it reflects the Haji Mountain quite brilliantly, causing many of the people living in Mirrton to mispronounce it as Hajmirror Lake or simply Mirror Lake.
None dare cross to the East side of this lake or risk some terrible curse.  There is a ghastly force that wanders the far shore, of the brave few that have tried many experience visions of wracking pain and have their minds warped so that time and space mean nothing to them.  The others simply don't come back at all.
It is said that when the river and the towns along it became the eminent domain of the Empire of Godsfall soldiers escorted a diplomat to parley with whatever force existed there.  The troops were offered up as sacrifices and only the diplomat escaped with their life, warning all others that the area East of Hajmire was never to be claimed by anyone.
