Dagger Cove -Devils' Shipyard-

Dagger cove sits just East of Farronvue, just behind the Horn of the Morning. The cove is book ended by two large pillars of stone, within the cove the numerous black stones jut up out of the water having unnatural sharpness.  While wary seafarers choose to risk the addition journey to Farronvue, those that fail to heed the warnings parish in it's toothy embrace.
The largest shipwreck occurred during the 1st Galmere War a large naval battle took place just north of the cove.  During the fight the ocean became obscured with fire and smoke, and a strong wind forced many vessels into the opening of this already treacherous cove.  The rocks within were merciless and there were great losses on both sides. The strongest of the swimmers were able to breach the cove's mouth and escape while many more were left abandoned within the greedy maw.  All accounted for 13 galleons were lost that night to the cove alone giving it the name Devils' Shipyard.
There is the occasional foray made by brave or foolish treasure hunters, that bring back bounty as well as tales of haunting wails of the dead, ghastly images upon the water, and gurgled voices of drowned men.  From the cliffs above little can be ascertained about the honesty of these reports as fog gathers here almost every night.  It is evident that something still lurks in the grim waters below, as shadows have been observed moving from ship to ship from the heights at the back of the cove.
