Crom the Valorous

Crom (The Strong/ The Valorous) : Crom is the god of valor, war, courage, and battle. From the lowest of plants, that fight each other for sunlight and nutrients to all creatures, strife and battle are seen as a natural way of life. Crom’s sigil is a sword, point upwards with axe blades affixed on either side to show that no matter the weapon, all of life is a struggle and one can only achieve greatness by struggling to overcome their hurdles. Crom’s worshipers tend to mostly be neutral and good, as battle is way to better oneself, not to subjugate the meek.  However, many warriors, including those humans would define as evil, choose him as their main patron deity.
His goodly worshipers are protectors and champions, while many others are everything from merchants to kings. It is not the type of the battle, but honor, courage, and striving to be one’s best that is what makes one a warrior. Crom’s priests tend to wear robes fashioned to resemble armor in their rituals. Those that adventure in his name prefer metal armor and weaponry.
