Elmrest

The nearest town to the capital city Illyria, Elmrest is both prosperous and relatively large.  The surrounding population are mostly farmers who work the rich lowlands in the south east of Nerevarn, making Elmrest the main agricultural hub of the kingdom.  Most of the high value livestock trades are conducted in the town, and almost all the establishments in the capital that trade in produce or serve food buy their goods there.  By tradition, the monarch always purchases their horses from the among the stables of Elmrest.
