A Wing and a Prayer
A poem by Llywelyn Amberhide, first presented as a public reading and then gifted to Joseph Cassius Merca.
Purpose
The poem was delivered verbally as a gift to the hoard of the dragon Zemidriath, who hoards tales, poems and other literary works instead of gold. After this, the paper copy was handed as a gift to Merca, suggesting he may be the subject of the poem.
