Amulet of Vaka

An ornate golden amulet with an enormous opal in the center. The Runes of the Universe cover every inch of exposed metal in an incredible filigree. Surrounding the opal on all sides are nine smaller gems of varying color, each representing one of The Nine - Vaka's inner circle and the original wielders of the Artifacts of Vaka. After being sealed inside Aetheria, thrown through time, and witness to much sacrifice, the Amulet is Exalted in it's full glory. One of the legendary Artifacts of Vaka.

An ornate golden amulet with an enormous opal in the center. Surrounded by nine smaller gems of varying color. Several of the gems appear cracked or faded, and much of the carving along the edges of the Amulet are worn or gone entirely. The years have not been kind to this item. Created by the goddess Vaka on the eve of her demise and gifted to Simon Petrikov, First Oracle of Frost. Lost for years before being discovered by Myrthos Karavala. Then given to Strahd von Zarovich, The Dread Lord by Myrthos in exchange for his assistance in conquering Gleyari. Strahd was ultimately sealed in Barovia with the now Dormant Amulet of Vaka. One of the legendary Artifacts of Vaka.

When wielded by a spellcaster, this amulet can be used as a focus. Grants a +1 to all spell attack and damage rolls while equipped.Echoes of the Nine
Spells are imbued in each of the nine gems on the face of the amulet. You may cast the following spells once per day. On cast, the gem associated with the spell loses all of its color until the next dawn.- Topaz: Slow

An ornate golden amulet with an enormous opal in the center. Surrounded by nine smaller gems of varying color. As the Amulet Awakens, the gems grow in color, and flash as they grow slightly larger. Etched runes cover the exposed metal of the amulet as the opal takes on a spectacular sheen. Created by the goddess Vaka on the eve of her demise, this Amulet has seen countless battles over the ages. Last wielded by Aera Windfeather, Eighth Oracle of the Wind to free the city of Aetheria from the grip of the Karavala Sovereignty, it then fell into the hands of the Oracle of Peace, Penelope Octavia Marcella Emiline Rose, who entrusted it to one Kaleena Starseeker, Oracle of the Moons in order to keep her from falling into the grasp of the Betrayers. One of the legendary Artifacts of Vaka.

While attuned, this Amulet casts the spell Contingency daily at dawn, affecting the spell True Resurrection. If you die while attuned, you are immediately resurrected with all of your hit points.Opalescent
