Valian
The Valians are an alternative race of humans with an affinity for magic. When Salcondoran made the planets, it wanted to compare how a non-magical race would develop compared to a completely magical race.
They are nearly identical to the regular human race, with mild internal differences due to the influence of mana.
They serve as the adaptive race that inhabits most of the planet.

Ecology and Habitats
Valians were able to adapt to most of the planet's climates to comfortably live within them, using magic to assist in the harsher areas. Valians would typically rely on sapping mana from the environment to support themselves, and would result in a couple of large Dead Zones, where nothing grows.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Valians are one of the few races scattered across almost every continent. They originated in the north climates, and traveled down the planet to seek other lands. Those who stayed in the north built large fortresses within the mountains.
Average Intelligence
The Valians have on average higher intelligence than some of the non-magical races, due to their affinity to mana.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Valians have a natural potency to mana, allowing them magical capabilities. They can also sense the flows of mana in the environment around them.
Civilization and Culture
Common Taboos
Valians taboo most magic they would deem evil, such as Black Magic and Soul Magic. They also believe any magic that would take over someone's control of their own body to be cruel and abusive.
Laws broken using such magic would be condemned by wearing Mana-blockers permanently, making them unable to cast magic.
