One of the four beastfolk, The Kanaan are the dog folk. Similarly to Valians, Kanaan are varied based on their distribution. They can be various types of canines, from dog, wolf, to dingo.
They were produced by the Beastfolk Curse.

Anatomy

The anatomy of Kanaan resembles an anthropomorphic dog. Unlike regular dogs, they have opposable thumbs and the ability to speak. They are typically larger than Valians

Genetics and Reproduction

Kanaan will birth in litters, but gestation will take longer. Kanaan can have up to 6 pups. Kanaan cannot breed half-lings with other Beastfolk.

They've adapted to forests, tundra, and the arctic.
