    Battle of Lastwell

For one hundred recorded years the Kaesimar welcomed their fallen brethren through the Boiling Void, pulling them into safety. Vaeruin was both a paradise and a curse to the once celestial beings, and they kept the land to themselves. The God of Endings, known to them as Olvdir, revealed his intentions for others to find Vaeruin. There was a great struggle, but eventually Lastwell was created and the Kaesimar who supported Olvdir's decision granted boons.

Loxodon first arrive in Vaeruin. They are birthed by newly cursed Kaesimar. Their arrival was unexpected and their birth messy. Lastwell was unprepared, especially for the number of new migrants.

It is not remembered fondly by Loxodon history.

    Halfies Birthed
    Population Migration / Travel

It started with a few drow, then other elven sort. Orcish people followed, then tieflings. These tieflings, however, were stripped of their fiendish history and their senses to the demonic dulled.   Lastwell inhabitants were not prepared for the circumstance of having to help people grieve the loss of demonic ancestry. Many of the initial tieflings (later called demon halfies), grouped up and recruited others to form Falsehold.

The very first bearfolk to come to Vaeruin came in a large group. This was a group of twelve survivors who had barely survived a journey through the Fae Realm after having lost seven members of their group.

These original twelve became the founders of the Sleuths: Kipburn, Applemar, and Dedlem.

    Aven Birthed
    Population Migration / Travel

Aven birth is always dangerous, as many Avenfolk are less than bouyant and not made for swimming. The initial birth of a flock fleeing their previous plane of existence was chaotic and just as unexpected as the Luxodon migration.   The original and newcomer Avens seem to have initial trouble with flying in Vaeruin due to the differences in the magical makeup of the sky. However, the Aven seem to take to Vaeruin beautifully, enjoying the magical vibrations in the air in no time.
