History
For many generation humanity had to hide in caves from the many great animals of the world. They were only able to live for as long as they did because of their ingenuity and simple tool making capabilities. Eventually one of the last great tribes was found by the dragon Pharanox. He was intrigued by their cleverness and decided to protect them. With the protection of a dragon the tribe could flourish and quickly learned how to construct houses and agriculture from themselves.
Pharanox thought them his language, which was a bit more advanced then their own. Mankind made it more complex as time passed by in order to make it suit their needs. This language developed into imperial, spoken throughout most of the empire with many rich dialects. Humanities population boomed after but a couple of generations and started to expand their borders. This was in the name of their chosen ruler, who was to them a god figure. After Pharanox defeated his own kin to protect the people, he was named Emperor.
Although the empire has seen its set backs, they learned from their mistakes. The known world is large and all of it sits under one ruler.
