Yudonia and its plates

A series of 5 books written by Carla Montro from 2002 to 2004 which is considered to be the first and one of the very few compilations of Yudonian cuisine. More than 30 million books have been sold, with the first one having been sold at least 12 million times.

• Famous recipes (2002): A book with 100 recipes of famous and not so well known plates from all over the country. It includes 10 plates per each islands included, for a total of 10 islands and more than 240 pages of content.
• Local Extravagancies (2005): A book that covers very secret and regional recipes, unknown even for most Yudonians. Strange recipes are also included, offering a total of 156 recipes.
• Vegetarian-only (2006): An edition filled with salads, tofu, fruits and bread. It offers 100 recipes for our vegetarian friends.
• Deserts Edition (2007): By far the longest book, with over 300 pages and more than 140 recipes, this book includes all known deserts native from the country. Some of them might sound familiar, but they all have a Yudonian touch
• Juicy Meats (2009): A book that explores what the third book of the series didn't: meats. This includes a wide variety of dishes, including meat, fish, shrimps, chicken, shark, and goat meats. The book includes very strange recipes too, some using horse meat or even crocodile meat as their main ingredient.
