Carles is a famous and one of the most brilliant chefs on Southern Europe. She is specially known for her 3 Michelin stars and for being one of the hosts of Master Chef Yudonia. She is also the author of Yudonia and its plates, a book in which she explains the culinary history and some of the best Yudonian recipes to be found, as well as mixing some of them with "contemporary cuisine".

Life

She was born on Plavit on January 13th, 1985. She later graduated after high school and headed into the National University of Plavit and studied Business for 4 years. After that, she worked for Unayu (Union of Yudonian Plane Manufacturers) but soon after decided to leave it all and make herself a professional chef. Studied Culinary Arts and Wine making and started to work as chef for Mulan Roi, a famous restaurant. Worked for some years and appeared on several TV programs, as she started to grow her reputation to later become the celebrity we all know, adore and admire.

Work

Her famous book, Yudonia and its plates, was published on 2002 as the first ever extensive compilation of recipes from all Yudonian Cuisine. The series includes more than 500 very distinctive recipes and a total of 5 books have been released to date, each of them focusing on different aspects of Yudonian plates.
In order, the books within the Yudonia and its plates series are: Famous recipes, Local extravagances, Vegetarian-only, Deserts Edition, and Juicy Meats.
Since the books were published and the Master Chef series were released, the Yudonian cuisine has attracted the attention of chefs from other countries, as well as travelers to the archipelago searching for some famous plates.
