Medirnism

Also called by the name of Yudonian Mythology, Medirnism is a religion based around the idea of a series of entities with diabolic intentions, whose only job is to evoke a feeling of fear and respect into its followers. These entities specialize themselves in a certain area of philosophy and can punish acts related to it, as they are the protectors of humanity and will punish those that, for example, have bad lifestyles, do drugs, kill people, constantly lie or sexually assault people.
The only objective of these entities are to force people to do right things in life, as people could be seeked by one if they cause enough pain to others.
The entities' appearance has evolved through time. It is thought that they were once phantoms that appeared and disappeared in the forests of the country or even in the water, until eventually becoming a series of serial killers by the arrival 21st century.
It was deeply recorded and analyzed by the first time by Charle Grosso on 1989 on his book The Demons of Medirnism

Current followers

A lot of people in the country are completely faithful to Medirnism, as they believe all stories and myths related to the entities as they see them repeat almost every day of their lives. Normally, each day news come about a rapist being killed by the Doctor before raping a child, or about a drug trafficant being killed by the Fisherman while unloading his drugs on a dock.
Although most of this stories are actually true, they are not completely true. There has been several people been caught by federal security institutions or random bystanders, claiming they are one of this entities, and some people have started to believe that it is all a complete fake, made up by the government or sects with the help of NASA.
In the end, religions should be respected, but with the globalization being present on a daily basis, nowadays Medirnism is one of the few religions categorized as being close to its extinction.
