Gua Tribes

The Gua tribes are a series of ethnic groups native to the American continent. They settled mostly on the Caribbean coast and in the Caribbean islands. Their religion was polytheistic and similar to the Mayan religion. They were mostly pacific unless threatened and were incredible sailors for their time.

Guanese Peoples

The Guanese peoples were a series of ethnic groups whose political system was that on proto-nations generally based on main cities and smaller settlements nearby. Diplomacy between these proto-nations was usually based on convenience, but hostilities were usually kept low as all Guanese considered each other as blood brothers, all of which had come from the hand of their supreme God, Guianea.

Religion

The Guanese religion was polytheistic and, similar to Greek mythology, there was a central God with much more power than every other God, called Guianea. From the blood of his right palm mixed with the soil of the planet then he made the humans, and from other elements, he would then either partially or entirely create some other Gods, like Baro, God of War, or Marya, Goddess of nature, tides, and water.   A strong part of their religion, similar to the Mayan tradition, was the sacrifice of caught preys, whose blood would be drained into the sea as offerings to Marya, hoping for wealth, prosperity, low tides that allowed navigation and successful harvests.

Gua tribes nowadays

Most Gua tribes that managed to survive the colonial period and the industrial era, as well as the Southern Exodus (Colombia), would later see their territory converted into Protectorates and their languages recognized as semi-official nation-wide.   The Guan tribes have highly influenced some areas of the country, including some major cities in the interior of the Amazon rainforest, as well as those near the delta of the Orinoco River, all of which have seen a growth of pagan religions locally.   The Gua peoples have become a very prominent tribe within the Colombian territory, and their language has extended to eventually become the lingua France between some other tribes too, including the eastern Karibe and Warao tribes.
