Personal history
Elric Beeching was born in Oakenward to a Human noble and Moon Elf commoner, and was abandoned shortly after due to the nature of this union. Left to die on the streets of Oakenward, the infant was discovered by Edwina Pennington (who had travelled north to replenish her Moorbounder sanctuary's supply of Fraldarian Steer meat). Edwina being Edwina, swaddled the babe and brought him back to Dracowind where he would be raised by herself and Arrah Beeching.
He was raised on a holistic, if chaotic, education. The foundation of his schooling took place at the Temple of Structure - an O'sha-aligned institution of Dragonborn where he fluently learned to speak and read five languages. Edwina took care of the more 'practical' aspects of his education: combat, exploration, and how to respectfully excavate a ruin.
After undergraduate study at St. Cethleann's College in St. Cethleann's Landing (where Elric double-majored in theology and dynastic history), he was accepted to The Academy of Ancient Studies on full stipend to pursue research regarding Kin Beeching. In the first year of his doctorate (at the ripe age of 22), he uncovered a secret regarding the death of Hadrian Frostburn at the end of the Temporan Genocide, granting him great notoriety within the field.
Currently, Elric is pursuing rumors alongside his mothers to track down a lost temple of Gemini created by zealots in the early 400's, a celestial spirit from The Zodiac Court of Zisnera.

Family Ties
Elric's closest family ties are to that of Kin Beeching - a noble Dwarven house that stretches back almost a millennium.
However, he has the Blood of the Soothsayer coursing through his veins - his birth mother was of the Sibyllian descent, and it was passed down to her bastard son. This has granted him unusually powerful oracular abilities.
Religious Views
Elric is a member of the Order of Erudition, a theological sect that combines values from the Faith of Avandra, Church of Sibyll, and the Uvtan Church. However, as he was raised by Edwina and Arrah, the majority of his worship is devoted to Avandra.
Social Aptitude
Elric is likely autistic to some degree. They have difficult maintaining eye contact and understanding social cues, but they're one of the brightest stars of their field due to their special interest in dynastic history, lineage studies, and ancient archaeology.
