The Mourning Wood

The Mourning Wood was established in CY 1619 by Archibald the Amicable, who had recently moved to Valenacht in search of a slower life than the hectic metropolis of Sakha. He chose the particular name as a joke (Archibald was fairly promiscuous as a younger dwarf) and a reflection in the sadness he felt for leaving everything he once knew behind.
Fifty years later, Archibald would hire Sufjan the Smart - a Temporan expat with exceptional bartending abilities and probably one of the best bouncers in the eastern hemisphere of Uthilith. As a team, the pair would win "Best Wings in Town" for the following decade, until Sufjan would go off on a dangerous journey. Luckily, he'd accrued an enormous amount of time off in that decade - as long as he found a substitute, he'd be able to go. The interim bartender is a stoner halfling named Arthur Stoutgrass who learns things surprisingly quickly.
