The Eye Opens
The Eye Opens was a prophetic statement given to The Killjoys by a Celestial under the control of Igor in late 1679.
Summary
An analysis of the prophecy is as follows:
"On the day of decade's passing..." refers to the shift from CY 1679 to CY 1680 - the Solar New Year.
"...when the Protector's Moon shines brightly over your plane..." refers to the month of Guardian Moon.
"...the Eye will open and all of this mortal coil will be under His watch." is in reference to the creature known as the Demiurge, who had lost sight over the creatures of flesh he claimed to have created when he was imprisoned by the Extraplanar Supreme Court in the 700s. On the day the decade turns, he will shatter the walls of his prison to gaze upon anything and everything in sight.
"From his tower of Velvet..." refers to the prison - The Velvet Room.
"...His gaze will stare into all and all will be Known." refers to the power he will hold over mortal souls upon his release.
"All who are known by Him will become His..." is about the fear the Eye will instill into everyone who's beheld by it, rendering them nearly useless as fighters and soldiers.
"...and those who are His will be remade in His image." indicates the rending of flesh that all who are beheld by Him will undergo, becoming mere husks of their former selves.
