Archmage

Although not Uthilith's rarest magical title (those honors go to Saints, Archdruids, and Masters of Magic), becoming an Archmage is still an extraordinary feat of wit and power.

Career

Qualifications

In order to be officially recognized as an Archmage by the Arcanist's Circle, a Wizard must have at minimum a terminal degree (PhD for theoretical wizardry, other doctoral qualifications (listed below) in at least one School of Magic for practical wizardry).

• AbD - Doctorate of Abjuration, occasionally referred to as the Protectorate's Terminus
• CnjD - Doctorate of Conjuration, occasionally referred to as the Summoner's Terminus
• DivD (not to be confused with the religious DDiv) - Doctorate of Divination, occasionally referred to as the Oracle's Terminus
• EchD - Doctorate of Enchantment, occasionally referred to as the Manipulator's Terminus
• EvD - Doctorate of Evocation, occasionally referred to as the Destroyer's Terminus
• IlD - Doctorate of Illusion, occasionally referred to as the Shifter's Terminus
• NecD - Doctorate of Necromancy, occasionally referred to as the Puppeter's Terminus
• TrD - Doctorate of Transmutation, occasionally referred to as the Molder's Terminus
