Deydrak

Deydrak is the new god of dragons and the lesser deity worshipped by the church of Deydrak.

Description

Deydrak was a massive dragon that was rumored to be the size of a mountain. His scales were described as a fiery red color and his eyes were said to have been orbs of flaming magical energy. When he was upset, his whole body could coat itself in a layer of molten metal that melted any living being that got to close to him. It was also theorized that he may have had some connection to the gods before his ascension.   Like most dragons, Deydrak loved shiny and magical objects. Before he ascended to godhood, he was known to create and give magical armor and weapons to his followers in exchange for gold or magical items which he would keep in a massive hoard. He was extremely protective of this hoard, and would grant his servants the ability to use magic if they agreed to hunt down the thieves.

Divine Domains

Deydrak's domain is wealth.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

The symbol of Deydrak is a pile of coins with a tail surrounding it. It can be seen on the armor or shields of many well respected knights in Drakovar.

Tenets of Faith

As a god of wealth, Deydrak has centered his tenets around money.  The tenets are as follows:   Watch Your Wealth. If one is not willing to protect what they have, they should not have it.   Watch Your Hands. To steal from another is a grave sin worthy of harsh punishment.   Watch Over Others. Those who fight alongside you can be worth more than gold.

Divine Goals & Aspirations

Many of Deydrak's followers are tasked sending him gold or other valuable every once in a while. In these times, it's not uncommon for him to send one of his clerics or paladin to search for ancient ruins to bring back treasure, which he then adds to a massive hoard in an unknown location.
