Wasted Buttes

High above the plains of the Eldarr Territories of Southern Krahnis, above ancient retaining walls is the Wasted Buttes. Most would consider this a plateau amongst the Cataclysmites. However, there are distinct canyons that descend hundreds of feet down from the rough lands. These are the edges of five separate buttes crammed close together. There are only a few bridges to cross the various canyons. Winter sets in a little earlier here, and spring later. This plateau has little arable flatlands for farming. Villages are meager here as hunters roam for game. The culture is rough and brigandry runs in the veins of even the decent. The largest town is Diggs, a former gold town. The gold deposits here ran dry decades ago, although there are always prospectors who are convinced there is another vein of wealth just waiting to be discovered.
