Proto-Dust

The Elemental Plane existed prior to the Material Realms. Within that chaos can exist all inert materials found in the prime material. But most of the chaos is a swirling maelstrom of weightless particles with no identifying characteristics. These are the first particles of the inner planes called Proto-Dust. These primordial particles can become any other inert material. From these was born the Prime Material. And everything can return to this dust. Proto-Dust is exclusive to the Elemental Plane, but there are magics

Proto-Dust is affected by will and thought of the elemental creatures and by the universal force of Animus.
