Fire Dunes

This area of rolling desert dunes is home to a number of unsavory creatures. Not the least of which is fire beasts who are said to have made the dunes into the desert they are today. Some say a sand dragon is sleeping there slowing gathering the water from the land. 
The Fire Dunes seem to grow every year. There are no paths through the dunes. If there ever were any roads, they are lost under the shifting sand. Supposedly a few small outposts and settler farms are scattered beneath the dunes from when there was hope the land could be fertile.
