Feverfire Haunt

A haunted village, long ago burned, but still smolders.

This marks the burnt remains of a low timber walled village. The tale says that a sickness broke out amongst the people and they became unspeakably evil. The gates were blocked and the entire town was set ablaze to burn everyone within.  The blackened collapsed walls surround a field of small weeds sprouting in patches from dark and ashen ground. Hollowed out buildings poke up from the brush and black twisted tree limbs creep upward.  Even a hundred years after it happened, the grounds look like only a few years had passed. Only ghosts and evil things could remain here.
