Mennaj is a goddess of the hunt, but not the hunts of sustenance of the goddess Laseerria. Mennaj's purvey covers those hunting the monsters and beasts of the world, glory hunters looking for a trophy or claim to fame, monster hunters of duty and coin, and collectors of creatures both worldly and exotic. Even the social hunts staged by the wealthy (galloping down a fox, coyote, or other creature too small or weak to ever attack back) are done in her name.   Mennaj devotees know that there is an order to the world and the races have risen above the beasts as part of destiny of being their betters. The beasts of the world are living beings, elevated but similar to the living forests. They are there for the races to make use of and not just for basic survival, but to build whatever society they see fit. They are a resource, not a thing to worship.   The Wildermere, animals who have been enlightened and can assume hybrid humanoid forms and are characteristically hateful of the treatment of their wild kind by the races, are a particularly aberrant creature to Mennaj. She believes they are an infusion of sentience done by evil, with little difference from an undead.
