Avalean is the goddess of the choice. She is always there to offer a compromise and to assure that every choice has consequences. The philosophies cite her as the source of cause and effect, the unique drive of the laws of Prime Material existence. She can represent the deliverer of rewards and punishments that are appropriate to an action taken. She is prayed to so that someone will get their comeuppance or a long-deserved reward. People beseech her to help them make the "right" decision or to find a compromise to a difficult situation.
