Cyrille is the eldest child of the late Count Marie Andree Noir and her wife, Vivienne Noir. They and their sister, Amelie, were raised very lovingly by their mothers. As a child, the two of them were taught the ideals of the temple of Siien and the shadow magicks that were practiced by House Noir for centuries. Both children were given extensive education on politics alongside their combat education because Marie Andree knew that one day her children would be left without mothers.
On the 14th of February, 23 EE, Count Marie Andree Noir and her wife "disappeared" at the hands of the Duke. When Cyrille ascended to the title of Count, they immediately hounded the duke for answers on where their mothers were leading to their political rivalry. Shortly after, the spirits of the Count and her wife began to haunt Cyrille...

Cyrille is ultimately motivated by their love for their younger sister, Amelie. Everything Cyrille does is ultimately to provide their sister with a better life with their current circumstances and to carry out revenge for their mothers.

Amelie Josephine Noir (sister): Cyrille and Amelie grew up together, and while they squabble as siblings do, Cyrille would do absolutely anything for Amelie. Amelie is painfully aware of how stressed Cyrille is at the academy and as count.
Count Marie Andree Noir (mommy): Cyrille loves both of their mothers very dearly, but Cyrille definitely preferred Marie Andree. Marie Andree was a very gentle mother to Cyrille.
Vivienne Noir (mama): Although Cyrille preferred their "mommy" over Vivienne, they still loved their mama very much. Vivienne was the more educational parent that taught both of her children magic and combat.
